    MountainCrest Credit Union - Arlington

MountainCrest Credit Union is the new name stemming from the merger of Snohomish County PUD Credit Union and Educational Community Credit Union.  Prior to the merger, an extensive market analysis was conducted by The Driftmier Architects which analyzed several locations in Snohomish County.  Following the analysis, the credit union decided to move their new headquarters to Arlington in order to better serve members in rapidly growing Northern Snohomish County.  The credit union also decided to keep their original headquarters facility in Everett as a branch facility.  The Everett branch was remodeled by The Driftmier Architects in 2005.

The new 7,000 sf headquarters facility has a spacious and comfortable member’s service area which includes a member waiting area and a transaction area with 4 stand-up and 2 sit-down teller stations.  The new branch has a separate loan department with 4 new offices and a general work area.  There are also nine private offices for the accounting department and the credit union management.  A small conference room and a larger conference/board room have also been incorporated.  The spacious employee break room leads out to a veranda with a large waterfall feature.
