    North Coast Credit Union

North Coast Credit Union had been looking to expand their presence in Skagit County.  After finding a potential location in Sedro-Woolley, Washington, the credit union came to The Driftmier Architects for help in exploring options and the suitability of the space.  We evaluated the tenant space and found it was appropriate for the branch’s operations.  We then worked with the credit union in conducting a needs analysis and developing design options for the space.

The branch was designed with a waterfront beach theme to complement North Coast Credit Union’s brand, while also not conflicting with the building’s existing rustic exterior.  The design challenge was achieving an open, efficient and inviting interior in a tight space.  The 1,146 sf branch includes two stand-up and one sit down teller stations and administration space.
