One of 24 branches designed for InterWest Bank, the Marysville branch facility was designed to fit in with the Marysville business district while still being a noteworthy building in the area. The project incorporated features from a prototype design developed for InterWest Bank by The Driftmier Architects. However, the prototype had to be adjusted due to the size and constraints of the site. The Marysville branch has a very open feel with 6 stand-up and 2 sit-down teller stations. It includes a customer service area, lobby and drive-through window. Despite demolition of the original building, the branch remained opened through construction with the use of a temporary modular building placed on the site. The InterWest Bank Marysville branch was later converted to Pacific Northwest Bank prior to being bought by Wells Fargo.
