Washington Federal Savings (WFS) inherited the West Seattle branch from another bank several years ago.  Over the years, the beams and roof structure had deteriorated due to weather.  The replacement of these elements was used as a springboard to update the entire interior and exterior of the building.  The branch’s interior was remodeled in order to make it more efficient for employees and inviting for customers.  The exterior of the branch was remodeled to fit into West Seattle’s California/Fauntleroy neighborhood.
