The Driftmier Architects worked with Washington Federal Saving on a remodel to their existing University District branch. The branch’s new look creates a more intimate full service branch and includes an open customer lobby and waiting area, teller services, customer service meeting spaces, and a new conference room.
The terracotta exterior of the building was restored, new windows installed and bright metal canopies and trellis cantilever off the building. The parking was also redone to create additional parking stalls and pedestrian paths, and new landscaping and lighting was installed.
Qdoba Mexican Grill will occupy over 2,000 sq ft of indoor space and have additional outdoor seating. A shared entry foyer has also been created for Washington Federal Savings and Qdoba.
