After being located in Bremerton for many years, Connection Credit Union (formerly Kitsap County Public Employees Credit Union) decided to move their main branch and operations to Silverdale as their market seemed to be moving in that direction.  The Credit Union purchased an old Wells Fargo building and The Driftmier Architects went to work on creating a new permanent home for Connection Credit Union. 

The building needed general repairs and updates as well as a design that was unique to Connection Credit Union.  The goal of the design was to create a professional and friendly atmosphere on a limited budget.  Security for the staff and the ability to segregate management from the lobby activity was also an objective of the project.
