Francisco Perez has joined Driftmier Architects as an Intern Architect. His intrigue in the industry came from the passion of sketching and possessing the curiosity of how things come together. He completed his Bachelors in the Architectural Design Program at the University of Washington. During his time at the University, Francisco participated in traditional design studios, various electives, as well as a design-build class. In his time in academia, Francisco enjoyed developing a design from a simple concept to something with structural assemblies.

Previously, Francisco worked at Nash & Associates where he received his first look into the industry. At the firm he developed orthographic drawings as the designs began to go through various iterations. He also created brochures for the Architect’s residential catalog.

Francisco is looking forward to further developing his knowledge in the industry by working on commercial and residential projects. His goal is to become a licensed architect and focus on designs that respond to their environments and possess careful attention to how they are constructed. He will bring a motivated mindset to the firm and hopes to develop his role within the firm as he gains more experience.

Welcome to the team, Francisco!
