    Menzie Professional Building

The Menzie Professional Building was designed with the idea that an affordable medical/dental facility could be developed that allowed shared common facilities for all of the practices and individually owned clinic areas for the non-shared facilities.   The 1,630 square foot building was developed as an efficient plan for the dental practice.  The design allowed for four operatories, one hygienist/surgical operatory, and all of the ancillary spaces and equipment required.  The remaining 3,400 square feet would be medical facility able to accommodate four physicians with their individual offices, two private exam rooms, and two larger assisted exam rooms.  All other areas of the building would be shared, including the waiting room, public toilets, reception, file rooms, business offices, staff lounge, x-ray, darkroom and casting room.  The ability to share space allowed for affordable leasable space.
