Larson Recreation Center - Moses Lake

When the City of Moses Lake surveyed its citizens about parks facilities, the overwhelming response was that an indoor recreation center was needed.  This new 30,000 sf facility replaces the shuttered batting cage facility that previously occupied the property. The flexible spaces for sports, camps and classes meet all of the Parks and Recreation Department’s operational goals for the new facility.  In additional to the gym, classrooms and track, the center includes six team locker rooms and a skate rental shop for the adjacent outdoor hockey arena.  The City’s Parks and Recreation Department offices have been relocated to the facility, allowing other City departments to expand into the vacated office space.
