As the Shoreline Water District outgrew its existing facility, the District purchased a branch bank. The Driftmier Architects worked with the District to convert the bank building into a new office facility. The 4,538 square foot facility was converted at a very low cost by making use of the existing tile lobby, dividing space through the use of glass blocks and planters and refinishing the existing teller line. The inclusion of skylights and lighting turned an existing coved ceiling into a prominent interior feature.
