Design work at Nelson Legacy Group’s Houghton Center in Kirkland involves a complete remodel to the over 55,000 square foot center. The remodel includes adding new storefronts, new metal canopies and awnings and an updated façade.
A new Metropolitan Market store will occupy two level of the shopping center. It will replace the Houghton Market and the store area directly below the old market space. Houghton Center will also include the following tenants: Bartell Drugs, Quiznos, Houghton Dry Cleaners, U Frame It, WAS State Liquor Store, Curves for Women, Manon Engineering and Tracy Nails.
An open court yard will be created and will have new paving, landscaping and seating to create a bright, open and inviting plaza area.
